Facebook Page Posts 04 - Media

In the earliest days of online life, the world was limited to text-only interactions. But the pace of technological advancement has been amazing these last 30 years. Now, many of us hold computers in the palm of our hands that are vastly superior to those early desk top units that squealed and screamed when connecting with another computer over a landline.https://ezinearticles.com/?Facebook-Page-Posts-04---Media&id=10268716
It was only a few years ago that watching a video online was frustrating, and posting a 30-second video required a thick manual, a ritual sacrifice, and the luck of the gods. Well... almost.

According to several studies, a plain text post now receives the least attention. In order for a post to grab eyeballs, at minimum it should have a picture attached. (A post no longer has to include text - it could be just a still picture, or even just a video clip, but we'll get there in a few minutes.) This is why you might see a post on Facebook about almost any subject, and attached will be a picture of a pet, or a sunset, or a tree - something totally unrelated to the subject of the message. If you can get a person to stop and look at your picture, there's a chance they'll also read the text of your post.
The picture you add to your post doesn't have to be a photograph. It can be a graphic - clipart, perhaps - with or without text in the image itself. It could also be all text, stylized in one or more interesting typefaces; you'll often see those created for quotes. Whatever type of image you attach, try to make it directly related to your post. If you announce that your business now sells blue widgets, post a picture of a blue widget. Now taking appointments for plumbing visits? Show your workers in their best uniforms smiling as they step from a truck with your company's logo on the side.
In between the still picture and a full-motion video is the "animated picture" - often a GIF (graphic interchange format) format image. These are still pictures arranged into "loops" a few seconds long, where the subject is often funny and/or shocking. The use of GIFs has changed drastically over the last few years, and I could write a whole dissertation on their use in personal posts. For now, we'll just say that Facebook considers GIFs a category of still picture, and they're attached the same way.
As I said a few minutes ago, your posts no longer need to include any text. If you've got what I call a self-contained image - with a picture, some explanatory text, and connection information - then post that by itself. FB also allows you to upload video clips, and the same goes for video posts. If you've got raw footage you've shot with your phone, you'll probably want to add text explaining the context of the video, and adding any commentary you think necessary. Of you can post a fully-produced video, complete with an intro, closing credits, and mood music. Producing video clips for your business is a completely different subject. I tackle that in another series of articles.
The one type of medium that FB does not currently allow in posts is stand-alone audio. So if you've got an audio podcast, or an audio recording of a book or article you've written, you'll have to produce it into a video clip in order to upload it. Again, the specifics of this are beyond the scope of this article, but the "video" can be as simple as a single still picture (or multiple pix chained together) taking up the image track, while the audio track plays. You can find these type of videos on YouTube, often created by home enthusiasts for songs where there's no video recording of the artist.
Currently, the maximum file size for a video uploaded to Facebook is 1.75GB, which at HD format is a run-time of around 45 minutes. However, you should keep video posts as short as possible. You're pushing it with videos longer than 30 seconds. Only people who are surfing FB to relieve boredom will watch videos longer than a minute, and you'd better have completely unique content that people feel will change their lives if you post a video with a run-time over 5 minutes.
Regardless of the media you use, any post you make on Facebook or elsewhere should have a specific intent - a set goal you want to accomplish. The message should be crafted using the principles of immediacy and scarcity when appropriate. Any time your post attempts to sell, or you ask a question, give the reader the contact info or link needed. In almost all posts, you should tell the reader exactly what you expect them to do once they've read the post, and give them any tools they need to do that.
11 best business post types, worst to best
11) Text-only post - long
10) Text-only post - under 25 words
9) Text post with unrelated still picture
8) Audio post with still picture
7) Text post with related still picture
6) Text post with self-contained image
5) Self-contained image, no text
4) Text post with raw video clip
3) Long (5+ min) fully-produced video clip
2) Medium (around 1 min) fully-produced video clip
1) Short (30 seconds) fully-produced video clip

How To Get Traffic To Your Website From Other People's Facebook Groups

he benefits of Facebook groups for building your online business, blog and brand are plentiful. Facebook groups are great place to generate leads, build your email list and ultimately sell your products and services.https://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Get-Traffic-To-Your-Website-From-Other-Peoples-Facebook-Groups&id=9717582
You probably have seen some of the massive Facebook groups that are in your marketplace or niche. As an online entrepreneur, blogger or internet marketer, you probably think from time to time, "How can I get access to all of those people that are interested in my products ans services?"
Get Traffic From Other People's Facebook Groups
Getting traffic from other people's Facebook Groups is not actually that difficult, but there are a number of rules you have to follow.
The first thing you should do is join the group. Once in, get in touch with the group owner or administer. Be completely open that you are in the same industry or niche as them and you would be open to any kind of mutually advantageous relationship.

Do The Work For Them
You probably already understand that consistent, regular interaction is needed on social media if you are going to be successful building your brand.
When other person's Facebook group is appealing to you, remember that person may have difficulty engaging his or her audience by publishing regular content. In exchange for a link back to your website, offer to provide a certain number of weekly updates or posts.
The larger the Facebook group, the even bigger the need for suitable content material and engagement. You may be surprised that your competitors are delighted to let you manage some of their workload in return for sending traffic to your site.
Engagement Is the Key
When you join someone else's Facebook group, engage the audience you find there. Answer questions and provide valuable content. Become a well-known information source in that group. When people in the group know they can depend on you for useful information they will check out your profile. If you have included a link back to your website, they will normally want to take a look.
Provide A Free And Valuable Resource
Contact the Facebook Group admin person and offer to create a valuable resource for the members of the group. In return for this free gift you're offering the group, ask if you can add a link back to your website. Even if they prefer you not to do this, you can place several hypertext links to your website inside the product you will be giving away to the group.
Many times a competitor gladly agrees to this kind of relationship. It helps their group members out and helps their relationship with the group, while also helping you to drive traffic to your website.

Yes, Blogging Can Help Your Business

Do blogs really matter? A website will market your products and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But people do business with people they know, like and trust. Blogs are usually less formal in tone than the text on business websites, giving business owners a chance to really connect with their audience.https://ezinearticles.com/?Yes,-Blogging-Can-Help-Your-Business&id=10179319
Blogging is a relationship-building tool. A blog, either on its own or as part of your website, can illustrate that you are a specialist in your niche who really knows what you are speaking about. It can also show that you have the skills and experience to create quality products.
Content Is King
Content is the main driver of effective marketing these days. And a blog provides content and helps your target audience find you. And that means content in all forms. This includes your videos, reports, eBook, infographics, image names, and more.

Free Traffic
In terms of getting a continuous flow of traffic, the more posts to have, the better. As soon as you have published one, you can share links to it on social media and via email. Provided that the quality of the content is good and relevant to your target audience, you should have no trouble driving traffic to your blog.
Your Blog Posts Are Free Samples
If you sell any types of information products, your blog posts will give a clear idea of the quality your customers can expect. Information products include items like eBooks, reports, videos, audio files etc. Your blog reader will see the quality of what you provide for free and will directly relate that with the quality of your paid products.
Your Recognition
Innovative and well-researched blog posts let readers know that you're serious about your business and know what you're doing. This confidence in you will not only make your audience more likely to buy from you, it will also give them a reason to spread the word about your blog and your business.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Due to their ease of navigation and frequency of updates, the search engines and will crawl your blog often, sending new traffic your way. In many instances, these will be people you haven't connected with yet. Studies have shown that shorter posts might rank in the top 20, but longer posts that are considered highly relevant will usually get into the top three slots.

ClickFunnels Vs Leadpages - A Biased Review

ClickFunnels vs. Leadpages: Why Clickfunnels is the Better Choice
If you are a business owner who runs your business completely online, you know the struggles of engaging and retaining your customers.
For eCommerce or Direct Sales businesses, it can be even more complex to maintain a website that has all the bells and whistles you want without the technical training of a programmer.
It does not matter if you are a blogger, consultant or service-based business. If you have a problem with engagement and getting your prospects and customers to keep coming back to your site, I think it is time for you to rethink the way you build your website.
I may have the answer to your problem. You, my friend, need to begin using a landing page platform. But, it can't just be any old landing page platform. It needs to do more without asking you to do more, you know?

They need to be able to create capture pages that will help you engage more with your customers. On top of that, these pages need to be sale-oriented and have a ton of different sales "funnels" that will direct customers where you need them to be. With these platforms, you can do the following but are not limited to:
Create mobile responsive landing pages
Have options for subscribers to submit for immediate email opt-ins
Choose from various templates and themes to individualize your site
eCommerce options that are compatible with major retail services
Ability to host webinars
Integration of social media channels
No matter the type of business you have, there is definitely a landing page platform out there for you. The leading platforms out there are Leadpages and ClickFunnel. Between the two, I would highly recommend ClickFunnel because, hey I said so. Actually, it really is the better of the two and let me tell you why.
ClickFunnels is for Newbies
Here is the 411 on this. We have all been there where we've almost picked up our computers and threw them out the window because they are so frustrating to deal with sometimes, right? Technology is not always my friend, to say the least. ClickFunnels was developed with the newbie in mind.
Us entrepreneurs may not have the "proper" training to code, program or other fancy techy words so we rely on engineers to do all this stuff for us. But, if you are a growing small business, you aren't necessarily going to run a hiring campaign for the top programmer out there.
ClickFunnels allows users to build landing pages with ease.
Leadpages can be a little cumbersome for an amateur who is trying to learn the ropes of the course. The complexity is more suitable for programmers and let's be honest, not every small business has the means to pay for one. Another thing I should mention is that ClickFunnels has a lot more features than Leadpages, but it is still easier to use.
For a blogger who specializes in developing recipes, I doubt she has the time to learn about coding. Let the woman cook and ClickFunnels will take care of the rest!
All-in-One
We like to do many things as combinations. We bundle our internet and cable packages. We combine our car and home insurance. We possess smartphones. All these things are a result of combined resources that we would rather access from one central area.
With ClickFunnels, you get all the different funnels in one place: order forms, website hosting, membership sites and shopping carts.
One specific feature that ClickFunnels has that Leadpages lacks is that of the automatic email responder. When a customer opts to receive emails from your site, they will immediately get a "Thank You" pop-up as well as a confirmation email in his/her inbox.
What else is amazing about this all-in-one concept is it takes away the guessing game of how to integrate all of these functions on a website. So, not only are the features simplified, but they are all connected without requiring you to learn how to do it. All of it is automatic and included.
Say goodbye to pulling your hair out and hello to efficiency!
The name itself should give you a clear sense of what it does. A funnel is meant to bring all components of a liquid and combine it in one container, right? This is exactly what it can do for your website, easier and better. Plus, I may like it more just because it has the word funnel in it and who doesn't love a good funnel cake?
What Are You Waiting For?
Have I convinced you yet? Well, here is some more pertinent information:
ClickFunnels has taken the online marketplace by storm. As other website hosting and landing page platforms have made great incremental improvements, ClickFunnels has taken all of those improvements and surpassed its competitors.
It has made great strides towards making the landing page experience efficient and innovative for any online business.
The bottom line is that to be a successful online business, you cannot sell from a flat website.
Leadpages still does its job of being a landing page platform but ClickFunnels does the same thing better. It creates sales funnels and offers ways for you to personalize your pages versus using universal templates from Leadpages.
You need ClickFunnels to simplify the process and this saves you time and money. Score!
Unlike its counterpart, ClickFunnels is the only tool that provides you with all the resources to market, sell and deliver your products online. You don't have to have a degree in IT or be this amazing website designer. All you need is a vision and this amazing tool.
Plus, it all happens in one place. There is no need to add one thing here to make another thing work there and so on. You are now able to cut down your time of stress and anxiety from trying to figure out all the technicalities behind building a landing page.

Review: "Social Media LookUp System" - A Smarter System for Sales and Lead Generation

Review: the "Social Media LookUp System"
The "SOCIAL MEDIA LOOKUP SYSTEM" is about connecting with people and offering a different way to make sales, but in a smarter way than the more traditional sales processes. https://ezinearticles.com/?Review:-Social-Media-LookUp-System---A-Smarter-System-for-Sales-and-Lead-Generation&id=9914579

Do other lead systems feel a bit like throwing spaghetti at a wall; you wait to see what sticks!
Quote worth quoting: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete". B. Fuller
Verdict:
  1. "Social Media Lookup System" - is a system to generate professional sales leads & home business leads.
  2. You find quality leads and ideal prospects.
  3. You will have more time to build trusting relationships.
  4. This is "advanced technology methodology" for sales. The 'Social Media Lookup System' is new and uses cutting edge technology to build relationships and quality lists of potential buyers. In essence it recognises that old style selling is dying or is already dead. If people are looking to fix and solve a problem they will only seek answers from those they have a relationship with - from those 'they know, like and trust'.I doubt you will have seen anything like this before.

How To Grow Your Email List With A Contest

You should be building an email list of prospects and customers. You constantly need to add new prospects to fill your sales funnel, and once someone buys a product from you, that person is more likely to buy something from you again in the future.https://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Grow-Your-Email-List-With-A-Contest&id=9937009
A great way to broaden your email list is to hold an online contest. Contests not only allow you to create something useful and beneficial for your audience on a particular topic, it also creates more engagement, usually daily with your target market.
You can create a contest or competition where everyone has to submit their email address to enter.
Who Is Your Target Audience?
If you don't know who your target audience is, you can't do anything - from creating content, to developing products, to holding a contest. Knowing your target audience lets you know when, what, why, where and how you'll move forward. Everything you do is about your audience and what type of value you can provide them.

The Goals for Your Contest
One goal, in this case, is obviously to grow your email list. But are you wanting to promote a specific product to the list that you build? Do you want to launch a new product and make sales? Know the goals for your contest so that you can make sure that you're doing what needs to be done to meet that goal.
The Right Tools for Your Contest
There are many tools that you can use for contests. Each social platform has its own approved contest software. If you want to run a contest on Instagram and Facebook, check out ShortStack.
Market Your Contest
Don't have a contest without also adding the marketing element. Consider it just like you would with any product you want to launch. You're going to want to run some online ads, and share widely on all social media platforms. Social networks like Facebook and Twitter are absolutely perfect for marketing your contests and getting sign-ups.
Follow Up
When the contest is over follow up with everyone. Announce the winner and interview them. Also interview the top three entries. Send email messages that you've pre-planned to everyone who entered and everyone who signed up during the contest.
Holding a contest to grow your list is an excellent way to accomplish your list-growing goals. Treat the contest as you would another product so that you promote it, launch it, test it, and improve it for the next time.

How to Earn Money Online Without Working For It

Today I want to talk to you about how you can make sure that you never have to work another day in your life.https://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Earn-Money-Online-Without-Working-For-It&id=10253630
The whole school-work-retire cycle (in my humble, yet always spookily accurate opinion) really sucks.
You have to study for years at school, then go out and finally work for about 50 years and retire when you're too old to enjoy it.
And let's face it, no one really wants to go through all those years of working just to end up where you really wanted to be all along, which is having the time to do whatever you want.

Well what if I told you that you don't have to wait to have what you want? You can have the time to do whatever you want right now and not have to work for years on end.
Sound impossible? Well it's not and I'll prove it.
Let me ask you something.
What do these 3 people have in common?
  • Stephen King
  • Isaac Asimov
  • Steve Jobs
None of them worked for a living
Yes they all had careers, but they didn't have to work.
Why?
Because they loved what they did. And if you love what you do, then it isn't work, it's a pleasure.
Stephen King is a novelist. He writes books. Many of his books have been made into movies.
He also writes short stories (although they are more like short novels). Many of his short stories have been made into movies too (think Shawshank Redemption)
Why have so many of his books and stories been made into movies?
Because they're good.
Why are they Good?
Because he loves writing. He's passionate about writing. That's why he's been writing novels for all his adult life, even though he's so rich he doesn't need to write anymore.
But he loves writing so much that he doesn't want to stop.
Will he retire?
No.
You don't retire from something you love doing because it's not work.
It's passion.
Likewise the late Isaac Asimov was passionate about writing. He wrote over 400 books during his writing life which equated to about one book a month.
How did he write so much and for so long?
He just loved to write. He was passionate about writing.
And what about Steve Jobs?
We all know he was CEO of Apple Computers.
He too was passionate about what he did and he did it until he became too ill to carry on.
Why?
Again, because he loved what he did. To him his job was his life. Everyone said he was a perfectionist at what he did. That's because he was so passionate about his work.
Steve Jobs was rich. He didn't need money.
He kept going to "work" everyday because to him, it wasn't work.
What if you could do the same too? What if you could find a way to set up your own online business, quickly, simply, and for free and start earning money without having to 'work' for it?
Working this way means you can work from anywhere, choose your own hours to work, and your income can be limitless, because it all depends entirely on you. You will be in control of everything working for yourself with no commuting and no boss to answer to.
And that's what Living the Laptop Lifestyle is all about.
It's about choosing something you're passionate about and building an online business around it.
That way, you'll wake up excited every morning and look forward to sitting down with your laptop computer for a few hours and doing what you love.
Can you imagine how great it's going to be when you're living your dream?
And today is the day that you're going to start creating. Your own Laptop Lifestyle and start living life on your terms.

Simple Process To Write New Blog Posts

The last few weeks I've been thinking a lot about how to get my brain back into "content creation mode". Especially when your blog still has low traffic numbers and the comments section is quiet, it can feel like talking to a wall.https://ezinearticles.com/?Simple-Process-To-Write-New-Blog-Posts&id=10256399
Once you get a consistent feedback loop from your audience & followers, creating content gets a bit easier.
But until then...
We need a solid plan to come up with fresh, new content ideas even when we feel completely drained of all ideas already.
Even if you're burned out today - I think the list below will help you! At least it's been working for me so far.
Luckily, I've been doing better than I thought at finding content ideas - without even noticing that I've created my own little system for it. That's how my lengthy hands-on guide was born, which I've published on my blog FromClickToSale.
In this article here, I want to share the current list of ALL my go-to resources to come up with new content ideas - at a surprisingly consistent rate.

This list is in no particular order, which means that all of these resources can work equally well. Most likely however, you will find one or two that work particularly well for you personally.
At the end of this article I'll talk about my favorite resources. For now, let's go over the list:
  • Quora,
  • AnswerThePublic,
  • Forums,
  • Social media networks,
  • Product reviews,
  • Interviews,
  • Personal spreadsheet,
  • Questions.
The most important thing when searching for new content ideas is that you let your mind wander a bit.
I cannot stress this enough: Even with a step-by-step process like this, this is still creative work and you must not be overly strict with yourself.
You never know what piques your interest! But when something does, follow it until you say to yourself: "I want to write about that."
The way I go about it is like this:
  1. I pick any resource from the list and start poking around.
  2. If there's nothing interesting today, I go to the next resource on the list.
  3. When I find something interesting, I click it and read on until one of two things happen: 1) I get bored and can't be bothered to read on, or 2) I can feel the itch to share this.
What do I mean with "the itch to share this"?
Sometimes, I simply like this piece of information and I want to tell others about it - this would be the most obvious reaction.
However, oftentimes I realize that I silently disagree with what I'm reading - or I have more detailed knowledge about it.
That's when I know I've struck gold! I can now follow my hunch and start writing down WHY I agree, or WHY I disagree, or WHAT other details I feel were left out.
Sometimes that means I'm curating content and that I'm adding my own spin to it...
But more often than not, it actually turns into a unique piece of content which I could have never come up with on my own.
But it all started with the above list of resources, poking around, and then letting my brain do the rest.
For me personally, forums & keeping a personal spreadsheet with ideas have worked especially well.
You might do better on social media or any other of the resources from the list above - so try them all out!
Do you also have a process for finding new content ideas? Let me know in the comments below!
And if you enjoyed this article, please leave a it a like - thank you!I

4 Types of Entrepreneurs and THEIR DARK SIDES

Do Business in A Box Opportunities Really Work?

The internet marketing space is getting crowded. Out of the many ways people are making online, the most popular method is affiliate marketing.https://ezinearticles.com/?Do-Business-in-A-Box-Opportunities-Really-Work?&id=9956722
In affiliate marketing you endorse or sell other people's products in return for a commission.
Affiliate marketing does fairly well in the digital information space. The commissions are usually huge and very attractive.
More and more, I see most opportunities turning up with more people promoting Business In A box type of opportunities.
This simply means that you acquire rights to sell a complete business where everything is already done for you.
The only thing you need to do is to follow a few set up steps to deploy the business and then simply drive traffic to make some sales..

You can literally build an email list using this method.
Popular in this niche is Private Label Rights (P.L.R). They do come with the product completely done for you. The sales page is already pre-written for you. Some P.L.R creators even go further by providing email swipes for your email list building.
The landing page or opt-in page is already made for you.
For most people who try to market these type of opportunity, the challenge lies in setting up the sales funnel so that it works as it is supposed to.
The set up may involve setting up your PayPal checkout links if the payment is being made to you directly.
Others will prefer to set this up through JV Zoo for example so that they can use affiliate marketers to drive loads of traffic to their offer.
Either way, most people find the setting up challenging enough.
If your budget allows, you can hire the services of professionals to set this up on your domain.
Otherwise it is possible to follow instructions and set it up yourself.
Changing links on the sales page is another challenge for most people. If you get this wrong you may be losing a lot of traffic.
It helps if you have basic HTML knowledge so that the process becomes much more easier.
Most of these opportunities also come with up-sells and down-sells. This means there is a lot of moving parts that have to be properly set up so that your funnel works correctly.
My first experience was with P.L.R products in the make money online niche. One of the challenges I faced was linking up the sales pages in the order they work as they were supposed to..
I would get mixed up and confused at the end. When I thought I finished setting up and were testing the pages, I would see lots of mistakes that I did not know how to correct.
My budget was so little that I could afford the services of others to have this set up.
So I had to do some more research online and even bought a product that had instructional videos on how to properly set up all the pages, auto-responder and loading emails.
Then finally I was able to easily set up my PayPal links and all the other pages but it did take me a great deal of time and frustration.
Now the question that's more important to look at is if these businesses in a box really work.
My short answer is they do?
But first, you need to know if this is a niche you are able to easily find targeted traffic. If not then you need to do some more niche research so that your efforts are not wasted.
Once you are past the set up stage, the only thing that's left for you is to drive traffic. This can be paid or free traffic.
Depending on the type of your opportunity the Return on Investment can be huge.
If you want to make more with this type of opportunity, you have to look at how much it pays.
I normally prefer such types of opportunities when they involve recurring income.
I am currently working on one that has promise for recurring profits and pays at different levels.
If you are aware of 2nd Tier opportunities, you can make even more from the sales of your down line in your network.
My advice to you is that you find an opportunity where your costs are easily recouped when you sell at least 2 licences to others.
Any proceeds you get should be channeled into more traffic acquisition. Paid traffic is the fastest way of getting your offer seen by many eyeballs.
You should also be building your mailing list while selling at the same time.
The key is to find products that are in an everlasting niche and in hot demand.
A good example of an everlasting niche is hosting and site builders. Everyone who is online to make money requires a website and those websites require hosting.
In a niche like this for example, your product should fully meet all the 7 laws of a profitable and sustainable business.
