Get To Know Your Blog Audience By What They Don't Tell You

You have heard people say before, "If you don't tell me how I can help you, how can I help you?"
To some extent that is certainly true. If you see a man crying and he is holding two pieces of bread, one covered with jelly, how do you know what's wrong? When you ask him, he tells you he has no peanut butter. Now you know how to help this poor man.https://ezinearticles.com/?Get-To-Know-Your-Blog-Audience-By-What-They-Dont-Tell-You&id=10280932
Sometimes though, what your blog audience does not tell you is more important than what they are communicating.
What's Aren't They Telling You?
Let's say you are in the weight loss market. You have a list, and when you survey that list the number one request is to lose 25 pounds in 3 months.
You go to work, writing blog posts and creating information products that help your audience do exactly that. Then something strange happens. You don't make any sales. What happened?

The Big Why
The important thing here is exactly what your audience is NOT telling you... the "BIG WHY" behind their motivation to lose weight. A woman may realize that her wedding day is just around the corner. She knows this is a once-in-a-lifetime event (hopefully), and wants to look her best so the pictures taken be perfect in every way.
You may think it is that person's fault for not telling you her intimate reason for wanting to lose weight. That is incorrect. You are the person they came to for help. You didn't ask deep enough questions to get around to the real reason weight loss was desired.
Dig Deep
Ask your audience deeper questions. Don't just ask them if they want to lose weight, ask them why, keep digging down to the core emotional need.
When you satisfy this deep desire for change, rather than what is expressed as a surface desire, you have a customer for life.
Share Your 'Why'
Share with your audience the "why" that you do what you do. Your one-of-a-kind, personal story and approach will help you appeal to an audience that you enjoy dealing with, and those people will reward you with business success.
Create An Audience Profile
You must know the audience you're going after very well. This means taking the time to create an audience profile, which leads to an avatar, a clear picture that is the embodiment of your perfect prospect.
Your blog should make you unique and different from your competition. When you do this, your chances of success running an online blog will increase dramatically.
